My "add new folder" button seems to be permanently
disabled as well as the fact that I can't create new
folders from the file menu drop down lists in any folder.
Windows XP Pro SP1 / all up to date. Any idea what I did
or perhaps didn't do? Help!

What "add new folder" button are you talking about. You should just be able
right-click, click "New", then "Folder". What does it do when you try to
create a folder? Any error messages?

No error no anything. I don't have the option to create
new folders. Right click or file drop down menus? There
is a little button visible in some files like when I am
downloading and such, the new folder button-(the one with
a little star on it) and I click it and nothing happens.
It's like it's been disabled?

I figured it out; It was driving me nuts the tune up
utilities 2003 disabled it and removed the right click
menu as well. Thanks for the effort Stephen>

Hey Kelly,
Thanks for the effort, as usual it was an oversight on my
behalf. Tuneup Utilities 2003 disabled the stupid button
and removed the right click option to boot. I do
appreciate your user friendly aproach to problems here
though.
Thanks!

Hi,

Are all new folder options non-functional as in the hotkeys as well?

To test try the edit on line 138:

If so, I will troubleshoot this for you. Good luck in the meantime.
