Can't copy to Network Shortcuts in Outlook 2003

I had Outlook 2002 installed. I had 20 or more shortcuts
to various network folders on my mail pane. Before, I
could copy by dragging and dropping the mail item
directly and into the folder I wanted it copied to. Now,
I upgraded to Outlook 2003 and it placed all my folder
shortcuts into a shortcuts pane. When I click on the
shortcuts pane, all my folder shortcuts are displayed.
Now, when I try to drag a mail item to copy it into the
shortcut folder, I just get the infamous circle with a
line through it not allowing me to do this. How do I
copy a mail item to a network folder shortcut or even a
local folder shortcut? Any help on this matter would be
gratefully appreciated.

Will it let you right-click and drag & drop?

Right Click only gives you options such as forward,
reply, copy to folder etc. The copy to folder will only
let you copy to folders that you have created within the
mailbox, not shortcuts to folders on the c-drive or
network drive.
