About a week ago I tried to contact Hewlett Packard via "Start", "Help and
Support", then "Instant Support" about an unrelated problem. After typing in
the specifics of the problem I hit "Send". The message, "no internet
connection detected" appeared and another message said something like, "As
soon as you log onto the internet your message will automatically be sent. I
was "on" the net at the time obviously and when I tried to go to other sites
I was successful and email was successful as well. I emailed HP and did not
receive an answer as yet and I called HP at an 800 # and the technician said
I had to contact Microsoft. Does anyone know how to resolve this?

What does microsoft have to do with hps software,if you can/have all othe
internet capabilities i'd say microsoft software is doing fine.Youre dealing wit
a second rate, out for the buck only company.HP a few years ago had alot of respec
in this end of the business but not any more.Tell hp to get a major grip on things
have them at least try to be honest once in-awhile.

Anyway, I still need to try to correct the problem of not being able to sign
on with instant support. Since my Presario is still new it is worth
investigating further. Any suggestions are welcome, thanks. Joe
