cant connecting to windows mail

I am having trouble connecting to my servers while using windows mail. I get
the following codes. Does anybody what they mean and how to solve my problem?

The connection to the server has failed. Account: 'home', Server:
'mail1.eircom.net', Protocol: POP3, Port: 995, Secure(SSL): Yes, Socket
Error: 10060, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E
Account: 'pop.gmail.com', Server: 'pop.gmail.com', Protocol: POP3, Server
Response: '-ERR not supported j2pf871297ugf.0', Port: 995, Secure(SSL): Yes,
Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC18

These gmail.com instructions cover both the IMAP and the POP
method of connecting. Choose one of these, and don't get them
mixed up.

Regarding the error message with the Gmail account, go to
Tools, Accounts, select the Gmail account, Properties, Servers,
uncheck "Log on using Secure Password Authentication."

Regarding the eircom account, I don't know where you got those
settings from. AFAIK, eircom does not support SSL or port 995.
