About a week ago I tried to contact Hewlett Packard via "Start", "Help and
Support", then "Instant Support" about an unrelated problem. After typing in
the specifics of the problem I hit "Send". The message, "no internet
connection detected" appeared and another message said something like, "As

was "on" the net at the time obviously and when I tried to go to other sites
I was successful and email was successful as well. I emailed HP and did not
receive an answer as yet and I called HP at an 800 # and the technician said

In one recent case, an IP was using a form of backweb to provide part of the
support link.

Thanks
