Can't connect to the Internet

I just upgraded my laptop to SP2 and now I am not able to
connect to any web site EXCEPT for Norton Internet
Security, Live Update. I have also posted a question to
the folks at Symantec but I am not sure where the problem
lies. I have checked and rechecked everything that I can
think of that may create this problem. Any help would be
greatly appreciated. My son needs this laptop for school.

After installing SP2 the firewall is automatically enabled. Check the
settings (controll pan). I would not recommend it but you can also disable
the firewall via the command line "netsh firewall set opmode mode=disable".
