can't connect to my host, after completing a hard dirve change...

I completed a hard drive change on my Host computer that was originally
networked with 2 other wired and 2 wireless computers in a small home based
office. We have cable modem with router and an additional network hub in an
adjoining room. The host will communicate with all other computers. All
other computers will communicate with others except the host. They are all
in the same workgroup, host name shows up in all computers, but can't make
them talk to the host. Mcafee antivirus on some, Norton anti-virus on one.
Any suggestions for what to try next?

Hi
If you did a fresh install of Windows it comes with the default security
settings, it might be that the Firewall blocks File sharing.
Since you did not indicated which type of Windows you installed be my guest
;) to both Win XP and Vista.
Successful Sharing involves some general consideration in Network settings,

As well as specific adjustment of each computer according to what it is
allowed to be shared.

Hi
Not related to topic at hand.
You should Not run two Firewalls at the same time, sooner or later it is
going to trash your connection's stack.
I.e. if you decided on one firewall disable the other.
