Can't connect to Blackberry 7130e

I am not able to connect and sync my Blackberry 7130e. The version of
Blackberry Desktop software is 4.1. In the Device Manager, the Blackberry is
listed as being connected to a USB port. However, when I try to sync, the
software can't connect to the device.
 
Have you checked with RIM or with your wireless telephone service provider
for updated software?
 
Yes. They said they don't release drivers until the OS is officially released.
 
I would think that a company like RIM would support it's valuable customers,
such as yourself, better than that. Oh well, that's why you are using Vista
only as a test and not actually relying on it.
