can't configure settings in memo style in outlook

Found that when the message is in HTML format, we can't configure memo style
settings (File -> Print -> choose "memo style", all settings are greyed out).
Any hotfix to solve this issue?

Outlook 2003 with all updates installed. Any workaround?

No, not really. You'd need to convert to plain text or use a 3rd party tool.
