Well.. I have those two systems.. They both have Wireless Network Cards built in. They are hp and Compaq, using Windows XP Home and Pro. When I add a wireless network, it is read by the other that there's a new wireless network available, and I press connect, and it connects telling me "Connected to the Wireless Network and the signal is Excellent" .. I checked that checkbox of Peer-to-Peer and it never seemed to work. I followed the Troubleshooter steps and actually deleted the whole network thing and began again from scratch, and it didn't work. They can clearly read the signal, I mean, when I push a computer by the end of the house, it can tell me that the signal is getting lower, and when I turn one PC off, the other could tell me there is no signal. But they don't communicate. I have this icon on my taskbar they are connected, but only the SENT light is getting on and off, no packets are received in BOTH computers. I also made it as one of them is HOSTING an internet connection and the other is a guest, and I connected the host to the internet, but NOTHING IS WORKING. Please help, what can I do?

Make sure one of the Machines has a fixed Ip address and
has DHCP enabled so that the second machine get's it's IP
address automatically, or you can setup both machines
with fixed addressess....
in a DOS window type ipconfig /all on both machines and
check if the wireless adapter have IP addresses....other
then the windows assigned ones....
