After resolving modem (Broadxent V.92 PCI DI3631-1) driver incompatability
issue, ran XP installation; appeared to finish, but when system restarted,
encountered blue screen stop message "checking file system FAT32; checking
disk for consistency; problem detected; Windows shuts down to prevent damage
to computer" dump of pyysical memory. Technical info: Stop:
0x0000007e(oxc0000005, oxf3dbf4do, oxf9ca3808, oxf9ca35d4) vsdatant.sys -
address f3dbf4do base at f3da000 datestamp4419a4ed". This kept repeating
until I was able to get Windows started in safe mode and shut computer off.
Not sure what to do next.

The problem is in the Zone Alarm firewall
[vsdatant.sys TrueVector Device Driver Zone Labs Inc]

Uninstall ZA [or just rename the file] and see if setup completes

Hi SteveJ,

The file that is referenced in the STOP error, vsdatant.sys , is a ZoneAlarm
file. I would recommend either upgrading to the most recent version of
ZoneAlarm or uninstalling ZoneAlarm prior to running the upgrade install.

You should uninstall any system utilities such as AV, firewall, etc before
doing the update. See this link:
