Can't come out of standby mode

I an running Windows XP Home SP1a. I have setup my PC to
go into stand-by after 15 minutes. This works fine, but I
can't get it out of sleep mode with the mouse, keyboard
or power button.
If I put the PC in stand-by via 'Start / Turn of the
Computer / Stand-by' then it goes into stand-by and wakes
up fine when moving the mouse of striking the keyboard.

This feature is properly enables in the BIOS and works,
because previously I was running Windows XP prof. and
this feature was working fine.
