Jason

I have three computers, one with Windows 95, one with
Windows ME, and the other with Windows XP. The people on
this newsgroup have recently helped me with a problem on
ME, so I hope you can help with a problem on Windows ME.

The problem basically is that some Internet Explorer
windows won't close no matter what I do. And only SOME
windows don't close. I can close some windows just fine.

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Don't continue to be an ass hole! Use the damned Windows
ME newsgroups for Windows ME.

There have been a number of messages recently from people unable to
close IE except via the task manager. I don't recall seeing any real
solutions, but OTOH the majority of attention has been on the msblast
worm.

Kelly has a tweak for "close command greyed out in IE", if that is
part of your situation. Line 239, right
