Can't change product key in System information window

I recently upgraded the OS on my laptop from XP Pro to Vista Business. I've
tried to register the product from the Windows Activation area of the system
information. Though there are links for activation as well as for changing
the product key, which I need to do, clicking on either link does nothing.
There is a message stating I have 25 days to activate. Any ideas on how to
solve this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Try resetting your activation:

1. Click on the Start button and in the Start Search box type in: slui.exe

2. Press the Enter key on your keyboard.

3. Select your Country.

4. Follow the instructions for phone activation.

5. Once completed, restart your computer.
