can't change icon

I can't get my htm and html files to show the correct icon (it originally
displayed a 'load from file' or somesuchon right-click, but that window has
now gone) - they are stuck on the default general icon

I have tried rebuilding the icon cache, used Microangelo to try alternative
icons, even deleted them out of the 'file types' area to force a
re-association on reboot, but it is stubbornly stuck and I cannot change
their appearance

any suggestions as to what to do?

I have this same problem with Jpg and bmp files, i used
folder options to set the correct icon but after a
certian amount they return back to the load from
file/blank icon.

By any chance would u be using Kazaa Lite?? i have a
hunch that Kazaa Lite is doing it to me.

Sorry i dont have any realy advice.
