Can't capture video

I have a JVC GRD93 video camera.
I am new to video...WMM recognizes my camera but I get an error message and
I can't get past it: An interface has too many methods to fire events from.
I have also gotten: Video device in use close other applications.

I'm not using anothe application but the camera's software is on my pc.
It's not user friendly...I want to use WMM. Is the other software
interferring?

I'm assuming you are connecting with usb? You really need to use firewire
(ieee1394/i'link/dv) as this will give you - Use of Movie Maker, control of
the cam via the pc, full sized dv-avi files, no quality loss.
