can't capture video, driver problem?

Have a sony dv handycam...use Pinnacle Studios version 8 software...all
worked fine with Windows ME and now I can't capture video. Supposedly the
neccessary drivers are already installed?
Can anyone help me?

Are we talking about XP or WInME?

I've been using both on XP w/o any trouble. Did you migrate from WinME to XP
or is it a new install of XP? If you migrated, I'd suggest you reinstall
Pinnacle. (Uninstall it first, reboot and then re-install it.)
