My ie6 opens but does not allow any websites to download.
Also:
I have been using ie6 for a long time but recently have been plagued with
offeroptimizer popups.
I have tried several popup killers with no luck. Zone alarm doesn't even see
them!
Any help would be appreciated.

LOL ... just posted this same response. Firewalls will not protect
your computer from spyware without carefully written rules. As to the
download issue, clean up the spyware and then post back if you still
can't download.
A Classic description of spyware on your computer. So now you've got
some work to do. Start by downloading, installing and updating Adware
6.0 and Spybot Search & Destroy 1.3 beta. Make sure you update the
programs as soon as you install them. Btw, they're freeware.
Also install CWShredder asap to clean up those little nasties.
Finally, install Spyware Blaster since you computer seems open to this
issue. If you don't understand the use of HOSTS files, then go to
this site and study it ... follow the guidance like gospel!

Google will list sites for these A+ programs. You've got a bit of
