Cant Burn Data Disc

I tried to Burn some data files into a CD-R with Nero
Burning Rom. But the burning failed. i tried many times
and failed. An error message said " Could not perform
Fixation " Please help me. I am using a BenQ CD-RW driver
and burn CD at 32X speed.

In order to burn cds you must close Internet connection,
and restart windows without any tray applications such as
AV/FW etc. the only one required is "nerocheck". Anti-virus
& Firewall will crash nero most all the time.

I had no problem with burning a data CD before. This
time, I also tried to turn off any unnessasary programs.
But i still got problem with burning a data CD. I think
my CD-RW driver has problem, how can i check and what is
the solution?

I used to have that problem also, but I ended up slowing
down the burn to 16x and it all worked out fine. Some
CW/RW drives are VERY sensitive to which program is
sending data. Nero is unstable but works at slower
speeds. If you're using XP, why don't you just use it's
burning capabilities and forget about NERO?

Thankyou for your advise. I had tried to slower the
burning speed to 16X, even i tried 8X. It looks fine but
problem still occurs. just less possibility.
Use XP 's own burner is a good idea, i will try later.
