CAN'T BOOT WINDOWS-isass.exe system error

I am unable to boot into windows and receive this message:

isass.exe - system error
Object not found

I spoke with my Web host and he suggested it was due to a
virus and I could recover my files by using my HD in my
notebook as a secondary drive. This is far better than
HP's fix, which was, "It's hopeless, you'll need to
reformat your HD." However, I would prefer to try to fix
this problem outright. Anyone have a fix for this?

I cannot load into safe mode or previous good config. I'm
basically dead in the water.

Someone email me a fix please!
