Can't attach to workgroup PCs over WAN

I can attach to the domain over the WAN but we have a server that is in a
workgroup and I cannot attach to it over the WAN. There is one PC that is in
the workgroup at this site that does show up in the workgroup but nothing
that is over the wire in workgroup shows up. Can anyone please help? (WINS
is set up.)

Mary,

Seeing other computers, in a workgroup that's segmented (ie multiple segments
attached by a WAN link) is always tricky.

Your best bet will probably be to view the shares on the server by Start - Run -
"\\servername", or "\\serveripaddress", substituting the server name or IP
address appropriately.
