Cant anyone help????

I have tried the links people have suggested and the likns dont work. Can
someone just tell me how to shut off the email virus scanning so I can get my
emails???? THANK YOU!!!!!!

It's not a Vista or Win Mail setting.. just open your antivirus program, and
look for email configuration.
We don't know what you are using.

I'm using McAfee Security Center with no problems.

I am using the same and someone on another post said my emails are not coming
through because my antivirus may be stopping it and to shut it off because
you dont need it foe emails. I dont know how to do that.
Is it maybe something other than that?

to turn off the McAfee email scanning:
Right-click on the red M in the task bar
select Open Security Center
click on Email & IM
click on Configure, in the right pane
click the Off button

Security Center will advise you that you are not protected.
Exit
