Can't add sound to email

When I open Web Tools in View and attempt to open sound I get an
HTMLInlineSoundCtl message. Any suggestions?
 
Windows XP SP2 is what introduced the error message. At this time Microsoft
is aware of the issue, but a fix hasn't been posted.
