Can't add "+" in front of contacts number

Hi,

I'm having problems in adding "+" sign in front of my contacts numbers fields, every time i edit it with a "+" sign in front of a phone number field, the "+" will be removed automatically when i save it.

I need the "+" sign because i sync my outlook contacts with my PDA, and only with the "+" sign in front allow me to SMS and call overseas. I'd tried using country code option but the "+" will disappear when i save it as well.

I'm using Outlook 2002 (10.6515.6817) sp3, appreciate if someone could help, thanks.

I just add a dial up modem and choose the country i'm from, and all the problems are resolved.
