My little network (2 PCs + hub) used to work fine but now
I can't view the workgroup - I get the
message "<Workgroup> is not accessible. You might not
have permission to use this network resource". Yet I can
see the resources on the other pc (Win 98SE) from command
prompt via net view; I can even see who's logged on via
nbtstat. I've repeated 'set up a home or small office
network' more than once, but it makes no difference. What
else can I try?

Make sure that you have a user-account/pwd that is the
same on all machines. if not so, you cannot connect a W98
machine with XP....
