On my home PC I can't open the System Volume Information folder.

When I click on it I get an error message that says "System Volume
Information is not accessible. Access is denied"

When I go to properties the 'hidden' check box is grayed out.

On my PC at work I can access the file no problem.

Any help appreciated.

Louise

Why do you need to? There is nothing in there for you.

If you feel the need to go into there, check the permissions and note that
only SYSTEM has access to this directory. I recommend leaving it alone.
