Is it assigned a drive letter...

Right click on My Computer, select Manage.... on the following screen click
on Disk Management. Providing the drive is seen and correctly identified by
the BIOS, it will appear on the right hand side of the screen.

You may have to 'take ownership' of the files and folders... in which case,
see the Help & Support section of XP, but ensure it's assigned a drive
letter first!

Also, if you had it as a dynamic disk before, and now you are using XP
Home, you will not be able to access it. Dynamic disks will only work
in Windows 2000 and Windows XP Professional. You may also have to
import the drive as it may be viewed as foreign.
