can't access road runner

I have had road runner installed but it keeps closing
after a few searches. Also when I try to reopen I get a
message that the server can not be found. If I restart
the computer it works sometimes and others it doesn't. I
have searched for viruses and cleaned out gthe spyware
crap. Any ideas? thanks

It may be a HOSTS file problem.
Look for a file named HOSTS (no extension, could be hidden) rename it
OLDHOSTS.
