Three out of four times I try I can't access my own web
site whether I use IE or NN. The site is hosted on a
remote server. I do not have a local network (just a home
PC). The site is a standard http://www.mysite.com type
site. I am running Windows ME on a Dell PC. I have
pingged the connection and all seems well. I can reach
all other sites no problem and all of my friends say they
can access my site no problem. Even when I click on a
remote link to my site posted on another web site I often
get the standard "HTTP 404 - file not found" error
message. When I can access my site everything seems OK
with the site. Any suggestions? (p.s. obviously I am not
too computer literate so easy on the jargon OK?)
