Canot delete file-folder

After running several virus scans, and Windows File Checker, IE closes with
"broswer error" at the same location. I tried going in thru DOS, and that
terminates in the same location. It seems no one knows why this file shuts me
down, or how it can be deleted. It's in my Local Settings/Applications/
Microsoft/Messenger/.....folder, and in a sub-folder named
{CS23005C76-29A2-933B-B933-1555313DD33B}/01. Anyone can help?

David,

check http://winhlp.com/WxCannotDelete.htm for the solution, but
be careful to make sure you're not deleting something that
should not be deleted.

Keep tapping F8 when your computer is booting up. Select safe mode with
command prompt. type "del c:\documents and settings\........\filename.ext" it
will delete it. or you can simly type this to a batch file then copy it to a
cd or diskette then run it from there.
