Canon MP800R Availability

The Canon MP800R is listed as "out of stock", "backordered" or
"discontinued" everywhere I've checked, including B&H, Adorama, Amazon
& Buy.com. Anyone know why?

Canon does this, the release a spiffy model, and replace it with a new
one in a year. Sometimes there is a minor improvement, body change, or
sometimes there is a downgrade.

This is my big complaint with Canon. Stores which carry their inkjets
often go 3 or more months before getting more. Why? Because they only
order more when they run out, and when they run out odds are the model
has been replaced with something else, at a new price.

I'm not aware of a mp800R replacement, or another model which uses wifi
or network.
