Canon LBP 800 laser printer/monitor:black border

Hello:
I had microsoft XP installed on my computer by a 'soc-
called professional' and they told me they can't install
my canon LBP 800 laser printer because the driver is not
available with XP. I need my printer for my work, which
is very important to me and my income. Any Suggestions?

Also, after the so-called professional left I have an
black border, about 1 inch surrounding my image: the
image does not take up the full screen. Help! Any
suggestions to fix this problem?

Canon (at least in the US) didn't make a model LBP-800

There are drivers for the LBP-860 on the XP CD.
