Canon iRC4080i refusing to scan

It asks that you press 'online' on the touch screen, but displays 'Waiting' refusing to be ready to scan!

Any help gratefully apppreciated I am desperate!

Pesky things scanners when they play up, sorry I can't be of more help than that..Not my thing scanners..
 
Have you tried disconnecting everything that relates to the scanner and then reconnecting. That includes deleting the scanner from the hardware list. Then get the PC to "seek New Hardware" when you reconnect (it may do it automatically).

That has worked for me in the past when I've had similar problems. :thumb:
