canon i850 green

My canon i850 suddenly started printing everything very green. i've tried deep cleaning all to no avail. my os is xp home addition and the printer is hooked up on the usb port.
 
Do the three tanks have ink in them?

Have you gone into the Canon Print Preference and click
on default for every tab?

Is the "monochrome effects:" box checked in the "effects"
tab, if it is uncheck.
