Hi
Just recently each time I go to print I get an error message that
there is more than one yellow cart and just today the message read
there is more than one yellow and black cart.

Opening the cover and re-installing the carts solves the prob until
the printer is switched off

Am I getting cross-contamination or are the offending carts beginning
to fail? I refill my carts

Are You Using and Have you always used Canon Ink and Carts?

If Not then you asked for the problem you now have.

It is known that a cartridge can be defective,
Call Canon and ask for a new yellow or take it back to the store where it
was purchased.
