Cann't sign into Messenger and Hotmail anymore

IE6 wont let me log onto hotmail account any more - no
problem with Mozilla. I wondered if it might be because
encryption isn't working because the screen shows DNS error
after asking for OK to go to a security zone, and also the
Windows Update does not succesfully check my current s/w
for required updates but says ActiveX needs switching on -
even when the advanced settings show enabled against them
all. Last point - when I close IE6 error box comes up with
"The instruction at "**********" referenced memory at
"***********". The memory could not be read." (The 2
strings of * are always the same. Any ideas - before I
swith of IE6 as default browser?

(Get a fresh copy of CWS Shredder before each use. It's updated

Also update your virus definitions and then run a full system scan. From
now on do both once-a-day.
