Your post is so uninformitave that no meaningful answer can be
provided. WinXP has ZERO built-in ability to access "chatrooms"
although it does come with a Messaging program, MSN messenger (not the
same thing as a chatroom.)
There are dozens of different chat servers out there, most with
propietary software needed to view them. What system are you trying
to chat on?
