Cannot use Word 2000 as email editor

When I try to select Word as my e-mail editor, the box is gray and I cannot
select as directed.

What version of Outlook are you using? The version of Outlook and Word
*must* match.
 
Probably the problem. I'm using Word 2000, Outlook 2003.
