Cannot update

Cannot update to service pack 2. Cryptographic service is
not running. When I try to start the Cryptographic
service it givs error 127 and stops. RPC service is
started and running.
Has anyone seen this problem. Can not find a referance to
the starting or error that we are getting.

Open event viewer. Select either application or system.
Look for red colored entries and the appropriate time of
your event. Select microsoft link and reply yes and post
that here or maybe you'll get something more specfic.
