Cannot update Windows Defender

My Vista Home Premiuem cannot update security defenitions for Windows
Defender.
Otherwise I have no problem updating Vista.

What's the problem??

Are you running Live OneCare? It has it's own Windows Defender and disables
the installed copy.
 
Same suddent problema without Live OneCare installed or used... Defender
can't access definitions... and so be reactiveted...
