Cannot unlock XP after changing password.

Hi,

Recently as per the group policy I had to change my password. After
changing the password I cannot unlock my machine (On Resume prompt for
password is checked in Screensaver settings).

I cant use my old and new password to unlock my machine. The only
option is to switch off my laptop and turn it back on.

I am not sure if there is a way to sync password information in local
and server profile.

Appreciate any help on this.

Suggest you contact your IT dept?
 
I wish I could but I am clients place and would have to raise a ticket
for it.

Can you not log on as Local Administrator instead of a Domain member?
