Cannot uninstall CISCO VPN client

When I try to uninstall CISCO VPN client I get the following message:
The InstallShield version is not supported on the Windows Vista Operating
System. Please use the MSI version.

I thought that VISTA automatically uses Windows installer 4.0. So how do I
use the MSI version to uninstall?

I tried to run the command as in the link you gave but nothing happened. I
have CISCO VPN client version 5.0.00.0340 on my system

Any other ideas as to how I can uninstall this?

System Restore probably doesn't go far enough back, so, no, other than some
other instructions from Cisco, I don't.

The latest beta version of the Cisco VPN client is an MSI package and will
install over and upgrade any existing Cisco VPN client including one that's
been installed as an InstallShield package. I would recommend installing
the new beta, then doing an immediate uninstall to get rid of your exiting
client.
