Cannot turn on automatic update

I have created a new adminstrative user due to changing
domain. I have copied most local settings files to the
new user. But when trying to enable automatic update, the
menues are all greyed out. I have also changed from
Norman virus scanner to Trend's Office Scan.

Have you met this problem before?
