Cannot stop popup

I'm getting a popup that I can only stop by bringing up the Windows Task
Manager and End Task on it, listed as "mp_notifier_06033b"

The popup is MOVIEPASS.TV
3 day trial expired
on 2006-03-11 our content software was installed on my system

Click CONTINUE to Purchase

Does ANYONE know how to stop this popup?

Or is there a different Newsgroup I should try?

Hi Stuart,
Uninstall the Trail from your Machine by going to Add/Remove in the Control
Panel.
Also Scan for Malware and Trackers left by this Trail (may be!).
Do you have Av with Firewall installed?.
