Cannot stop Live Messenger starting on boot up

Hi

I posted this in the msn Messenger newsgroup but it seems dead over there -
no replies!

I have unticked the box Automatically run Windows Live Messenger when I log
on, but it
still keeps firing up. How do I stop this loading without uninstalling it?

Why not stop it from MSCONFIG/ALL

Start, run, msconfig/all

The item should be in startup tab. just untick from it.
