Cannot Start Windows XP after installing Service Pack 3

The installation worked fine and then I rebooted the system as instructed and
now my system is stuck in a rebooting loop.

Can start in Safe Mode but that's it

Any ideas?

Perhaps the installation didn't work as fine as it appeared. Did you
disable a/v apps etc while installing?

If you can boot to Safe Mode, go there and into msconfig. There, in the
Boot.ini section, turn on /bootlog.

Now attempt the restart as normal, if it fails reboot again to Safe Mode
and look at the bootlog file.

If you can attach the drive to another system, delete the file pagefile.sys
from the root. This can sometimes help.
