Installed MS Outlook 2003 on a new sytem. Logged onto
Exchange Server. When loading InBox from previous (Outlook
2000), got a message "Inbox too large".
I performed an Arhive Old Messages, and Outlook 2003
locked up. After machine reboot, Outlook 2003 will not
start, giving the message "Cannot start Microsoft Office
Outlook. Unable to open the Outlook window. This set of
folders could not be opened".
Uninstalled office, reinstalled... same message. Tried to
edit registry to remove all Office entries, reinstalled...
same message. Removed all files from local
settings/application data/micrsoft/outlook, reinstalled...
same message.
Cannot get Outlook 2003 to start no matter what. I am NOT
using "Custom Install", just doing regular install right
off the CD (found one KnowledgeBase article that
references this error message when doing custom install,
but that is not what is happening here).
