In safe mode I get the same window for User and Password. I have tried xp and
XP as user and blank password, but it don't work. I never got the "Start"
button. Am I doing anything wrong?

This new computer is part of a Local Network, and I can access it from this
other computer. Is there a possibility there? I don't know where to go in the
new (locked) computer to solve the problem.

User is "Administrator" (without the quotes) and password blank. Try that.

It will neither work with "Administrator" as username and blank as password.

If this is XP Home, the Administrator account is only available via Safe
Mode, and that's what you will need to log into if you disabled the accounts
that appear in regular mode. From there you can re-enable the accounts.

You must start in Safe Mode, and on the welcome screen Administrator should
appear. By default the password is blank (just press enter). You might
need to press control+alt+delete to get a login dialog otherwise.

If for some reason this account was also disabled, you basically have to
wipe the system and reinstall XP. If you have data on that drive that
you don't want to lose, remove the hard disk and attach it to another
system, and copy the data off before reinstalling XP.

I find that an easy and fast way to get all the data is to use the trial
version of Acronis TrueImage. Use this to create an image of that drive,
and later, you can mount the image, locate the data, and just copy it in the
normal way.
