Cannot start audio and webcam

Hi all
I am trying to use both audio and video for a conversation with both
messenger 6

Configurations:

My PC
Athlon XP - a lot of RAM - Win XP Pro
Logitech Quickcam (old version, year 2001)
Sound blaster Live!
Connected to the internet by a ICS on Win98 on a machine connected
by a ISDN dialup

The other PC
Notebook Asus Athlon MP - a lot of RAM - Win XP Home
Logitech Quickcam (new version, year 2003)
Connected to the internet by optical wires, 10 Mbit connection, very
fast by Fastweb, italian ISP

We can write each other but we cannot use audio, webcam, nor the video
conference service.

It tries to connect but after a couple of minutes it fails

We both tried starting the request, and we both had the same behaviour

With the yahoo messenger we talk audio & webcam correctly.

What can my problem be?

I had same problem but I fixed it. DO the following
go to start then control panel then to network
connection then right clice on the connection that you
use then go to properties then go to advance then you
must check the box for (allow other network users to
connect through this computer........) then you must hit
OK then disconnect the internet and the connect and try
it it should work fine
