Cannot show complete file path in windows explorer

I am new to Windows XP. It used to be simple in W2k to show complete file path in windows explorer
In XP when I add Addtess toolbar and then check on the Display full path in Folder Options/View I do not get the path to show up. Help is much appreciated

try folder options and then click your option, then click
on APPLY TO ALL FOLDERS. Hope this work
